Some places were central to emigration from Europe, others play(ed) an important role in global economic relations then and now. Traces of German colonialism, National Socialism and right-wing extremist violence can also be explored on the maps.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-extra-small-font-size\"><em><strong>Click on the
